# Freaking roommate!

I just came into our dormroom this afternoon, and to my great chagrin, I had the unpleasent experience of smelling liquor. The stench permeated the room so that I could not stand it until a few hours later when the smell was lessened. I had to open a window, and it is Minnesota, which is cold. Now my room smells like cold alcohol and I’m trying to sleep. I don’t care if you drink, even though it is breaking the law because you are under the legal age. Just don’t make the room, and by association, me, smell like I just stepped out from under a running tap of Coors.
This makes me sick. It’s a dry campus, allegedly. :rolleyes:
Also, get that dumb whisky container out of my side of the closet! Just because you used up all your space with your LP collection doesn’t mean you can spread your filth over my half.

Seriously. You could be held liable if he has alcohol there and you know about it.
And yeah, it could be worse…(mine currently has the guy across the hall hang out over here from about 5 PM until 2 AM (on weeknights…) and they speak Chinese. Loudly.)

Well, **Miller** , he drinks, and he put up a cultured sticker, “F\*ck milk. Got Pot?” :rolleyes:
And he started snoring two nights ago . . . loudly.

Man, you guys have it lucky. My roommate never washes his dishes, leaves his dirty underwear all over the bedroom floor, _and_ demands sex on a regular basis. Are your roommates requesting blow jobs every night?

That sucks, man. Though I think I have it pretty easy with my roommate. We get along and don’t do anything illegal…er, in the room. 🙂
But still, I cannot wait till next year when I get the chance of a single. Oh god…Could there be anything sweeter than being able to live without another person there?

Still not hugely impressed, sorry. Well, the snoring is bad, but that’s not even his fault. When he starts stealing your stuff, trying to sabotage your romantic relationships, leaving extremely nasty bestiality porn lying around the dorm, or huffing paint thinner and hanging out with skanky nymphos\*, then you’re talking real “bad roommate” territory. A college roommate who drinks and smokes pot is just… well, your typical college roommate.

Bah! When I had a roomate I used to wake up at 2am to the sounds of him fucking the guy across the hall. An it was highschool so it was one room that we shared. Beat that!

my room mate drinks… then lectures me about drinking… every weekend…
I never drink… EVER… hes a semi alcholic… and every week he lectures me…
not to mention hes 19 and I’m 21!

Hey, my high-school boyfriend got kicked out of college because they found (his roommate’s) alcohol in his dorm room and the school have a zero-tolerance policy.
I second the suggestion that you get on record with your RA that he has alcohol in your room and it ain’t yours. It probably won’t make you the most popular kid on your block, but it beats getting expelled.
