On the one hand, White Replacement Theory is an insane paranoid theory promoted by bigoted morons to justify their behaviors. On the other hand, looking at the people who promote it I just think “Fuck it - roll on, replacement”. ---

I hope the entire world blames Tucker for “cancelling” or “banning” the M&M spokescandies. By that, I mean, I hope for the next year or three, he can’t go in public without being ridiculed and directly blamed for this. Yes, I know, all he did was whine about it, but it’s not like he’s never blamed the wrong person/group for cancelling or banning something. But, it’s still a direct result of him acting like a 2 year old that needs everyone to look at him all the time. I wonder how he feels about Maya in this new role? I think they’re trolling the alt-right, not capitulating. Maya Rudolph is a half Black, half Jewish, leftist SNL alum. Also the Superbowl is coming up. This is probably a lead in to their commercial, which will probably not make Tucker happy, whatever it ends up being. ---

Yeah I guess we’ll see how it plays out, but I really don’t see any way Maya Rudolph is supposed to be more acceptable for Tucker and his audience than anthropomorphized cartoon candies. As a GenXer, I can’t help but read sarcasm into that press release, but I may be bringing some of that to the table as a reader. ---

Please check out the Trock Chum2 in “Should Democrats stop talking about social and racial issues” who is letting us the current freakout about Democrats Ruining Sports by bring up Social/Racial issues. Not just kneeling (which I mentioned upthread), but by killing love of sports by bringing up any (non white, not military cornfed patriotism) off-field issues. Not that there isn’t an overlap in posters between this thread and that one… ---
