Yes. You’ll be riding your bike, minding your own business, and some large pickup truck will slow down and try to envelope you in a cloud of black exhaust. It’s the beautiful retort, the apex of intelligence, the height of cleverness for this crowd. Though as @dtilque points out, it has decreased significantly the last couple of years. That entire article frames the incident so weirdly–this poor innocent kid in his giant pickup truck was ruthlessly harassed by a mob of evil terrorist bicyclists, until he had no choice but to defend himself by blowing a bunch of diesel smoke in their faces, and eventually running some of them over–that I thought it must be some kind of Onion-like satire. But no, according to wikipedia, the Washington Free Beacon is apparently in dead earnest. ---

IIRC the Washington Free Beacon were the ones who originally paid for the anti-Trump research in 2016 from the company that later incorporated it into anti-Trump research paid for by the Clinton campaign (including the Steele dossier). ---

It’s worth noting that in the movie _Avengers: Age of Ultron_, the evil AI was in existence for all of about a minute before it went on the internet, and then [rightly?] decided that all of humanity needed to be eradicated. ---

Looks like Ford is the next target for the anti-woke crowd. A few years ago Ford made this ad to support the LGBTQ community. It’s now getting attention from some fragile conservatives. Search for “rainbow Raptor” in YouTube and you’ll see it. ---

Yes when I was in elementary school we had a poem unit from all types of poets. And my principal was stridently Republican. He thought break-dancing was dangerous. He thought any parent who let their kids watch ‘The Simpsons’ was neglectful and corrupting their youth. The poor man was not open to culture really. ---
