# Freckles, what are they?

Myself plus alot of other people I know are covered in them, is there a reason for why they exist?

Well, I know/think they’re brought out by the sun, from my experience. I think they’re just small concentrated areas of pigment, like moles/beauty spots. Correct me if I’m wrong :).
