Holy crap, that’s just wrong. Picketing _Mr. Rogers_?! And already passing the hate down to a new generation. Hopefully that 8 year old girl mentioned in your quote will grow up and be able to think for herself.

K, I don’t really believe in karma or chi or whatever. But does anyone else think that, like in a horror movie, the Westboro Baptist Church has a sickly green glow flowing up it, whilst a dark, deadly tar drips down the walls? It’s people like Fred Phelps, that make me hang my head in shame when I admit that I was born in Kansas. There actually are good people here in this state. It’s easy to overlook them in the shadow of Phelps and his ilk. This is one reason that my husband and I will move from this stateas soon as is feasible.

**bo989** , it wouldn’t be too realistic to organize a picket of his church. No good sidewalks on either side of the street. His church is part of his personal residence as well, and here in Topeka you can picket just about everything but a home. All but two residences in his block belong to members of his family and are connected by a high wooden fence. It’s kind of funny to see the fence snaking along and have to curve around the two houses that aren’t part of the family compound.
Did you know that Phred is now accusing gays of crucifying Christ? Of course his “logic” is convoluted, and the supporting quote is from the _Old_ Testament, but if you are curious try

Wow… you’re right there at the front lines, eh? Even if a picket in front of the specific place of ‘worship’ isn’t possible, it would still be great to confront the guy. I would love to have words with him. Although he isn’t the easiest guy to debate.
So, have you ever seen him out and about? Ever talked with him, heard him speak?

Don’t be so hard on yourself, **Zabali**. Lunatics are born everywhere on the face of this earth. I’m happy with growing up where I grew up, even if we did have our share of raging nutters. The only difference is _your_ raging nutter found a gimmick to get his nuttiness on national TV.
Apparently, network exec’s and camera crews like bright colors and shiny things as much as the rest of us do.
