Oh yeah, thanks for the tips. The DOSBox itself had some settings I can screw around with and once I put out the fire that coincidentally erupted in my computer case, I was good to go!

I can’t load the games I save. I keep getting a message like “dukesav0.esv” failed (code 5)", has anyone else seen this?

Thank you so much. I tried this and its very easy to get it up and running. Make DukeNukem totally playable with the mouse and keyboard plus better controls. Now if they only had this for Blood (same engine).

The Eduke32 thing converts the graphics and controls to something modern but same game. Amazing level design back in those days!

> [@Covered\_In\_Bees](#):
>
> It will work up to Windows 8.
>
> Good Old Games installs a preconfigured DOSBox dealy with the games so you don’t have to worry about setting anything up.
>
> I am on 64-bit Windows 7, I downloaded it, unzipped it, ran the installer and was playing with no trouble. Except for the wacky keyboard.
>
> EDIT: And if you feel like spending money, don’t forget to grab [EDuke32](http://eduke32.com/). It is a nice mod, of sorts, for Duke Nukem that improves resolution and such.
