Can anyone recommend a free, standalone address book application? For street addressess, not e-mail addresses. 🙂

Right now I use a combination of my PDA and my Yahoo address book, but I’d love to have a standalone app on my desktop. I’m running WinXP Pro. When I Google “free address book” I get lots of hits, but I’m looking for recommendations in an effort to minimize trial-and-error frustrations. \<grin\>

Thanks in advance…

I use the Palm Desktop software. It’s clean and simple, and free. Make sure you choose “Palm Desktop” and not “Outlook” when installing.

You don’t need a PDA to use it on your PC:

Wow, that’s a good idea, **xash**! I do have a PDA (as mentioned), and it happens to run the Palm OS. So I already have the Palm Desktop. Never thought of using it as a local address book.

Thanks! 🙂

(I’m still open to other suggestions/recommendations, if anyone has 'em…)
