I host a small community message board and we’ve been long time users of phpBB, but now we want something with solid facebook integration, I’ve looked around, and the apparently best thing i’ve found is IP.Boards, but it’s too expensive considering I don’t get any money from this.

I found Vanilla forums, and i’m testing it, the facebook integration works fine, but I don’t really like it aestethically and it seems to be lacking in features. Do you guys have any suggestions or list of forum software that can be integrated with facebook? Ideally it should be free, but if it’s cheap enough I might consider it. Thanks in advance.

Take a look a [Phorum](http://www.findbestopensource.com/product/phorum).

It is free, open source software that will run on Linux or Windows servers.

And Facebook integration can be added by use of a plugin module.

> Phorum has more numbers of add-ons like Google-maps integration, Spell checker, Forum stats, Image gallery, User tagging, Highlight search terms, Facebook integration and lot more. External Application could use its User database to provide authentication and user management.
