My kids got woken up by Alexa crowing like a rooster, got served green eggs for breakfast, had a fake bug ice cube in their water, got treated to a fart machine hidden in the car on the way to school, have a fake centipede in their lunches, and their usual joke included with their lunch is in mirror writing. Please, nobody tell them about the whole filing emancipation from your parents thing… ---

They showed a photo of a guy selling eggs for $1 apiece. That is the equivalent of almost $37 today. Speaking of April Fools, on the way home I was listening to one of my frequent music stations which casually talked about being the home of Seattle area Yacht Rock, before playing _Sister Golden Hair_ by America. I thought it was serious, I’ve heard plenty of stations change format all of a sudden, but my wife reminded me what day it was. 🤦‍♂️ ---
