Looks like Kingdom New Lands is free on the Epic Games Store until June 13th. Then it’s Enter The Gungeon from June 13th to June 20th. Kingdom New Lands is one of those 2D side-scrolling city builders. ---

Ubisoft is doing a subscription service and [offering a free month](https://store.ubi.com/us/uplayplus/?lang=en_US) (Sept 3-30) if you register before August 15th. You do need to provide a valid credit card and they will bill you $15 on October 1st if you don’t cancel before then. But if you can live with that, you can get a month’s worth of free Ubisoft game playing. ---

Moonlighter is free on Epic Games Store this week. I’d like to try it, but after “purchasing” it, Epic Games Launcher tells me my OS (Mac) is unsupported and won’t let me download it, even though I exceed the system requirements. ---

Bit too depressing. I don’t like being forced to think about all the civilians caught in the crossfire on some Battlefield, Call of Duty or ArmA map. ---
