The Origin store also frequently advertises lower prices than show up at the final “approve this charge” step. How they’ve avoided getting sued to oblivion, IDK. ---

Elite and Elite Plus have been available from Ian Bell’s webpage for years, PC downloads are at [http://www.elitehomepage.org/pc/index.htm](http://www.elitehomepage.org/pc/index.htm) Presumably they need something like Dosbox these days, so I assume the Frontier version is a proper modern port. ---

Ah. Ian Bell’s webpage has downloads for those (and other) versions as well, but it looks like he hasn’t updated his site this century, his links to emulator sites are pretty much all busted. ---

Epic is giving away games again, World War Z, Figment, and Tormentor X Punisher. I tried World War Z, it’s a third person zombie shooter a bit like Left 4 Dead, and supports single player or co-op. Good graphics and has some impressive waves of zombies, like the World War Z movie. It’s also refreshing you don’t have to headshot the zombies.
