A remastered version of Shadow Complex is [free](https://www.epicgames.com/shadowcomplex/) until January 1st. It’s a platformer/shooter with some puzzles. Not my mix of genres at all but I downloaded and played it a bit. Not bad. I can’t get some item that the map says is in a room, though, and got frustrated. ---

Apparently Rainbow 6 Siege is having a semi-free weekend. If you own the game, [you can get 4 temporary keys](https://rainbow6keys.ubi.com/en-US) that you can give to friends to try the game this weekend. Kind of convoluted. But if anyone owns the game, can you throw me a key? I’m interested in trying the game. ---

It’s a metroidvania - just because something’s in the room, doesn’t mean you can get it the first, or even the third time through. Probably you need a required piece of equipment you don’t have yet. (not to mention at least a few of them are actually accessed from a neighboring room. ---

[Fractured Space](http://store.steampowered.com/app/310380/) is free if you install it on steam this weekend. Not sure if it’s any good, but the concept seems cool. Basically a space MOBA with capital ships as the heroes.
