# Free Pic hosting on the web for camera phone?

I was halfway through setting up a pic album linked to my camera phone when I noticed the phone # may be used by other entities. Does anyone use this service and what do you think of it?
Otherwise, I can e-mail the pics to myself and upload them, but the e-mail tag will give my cell number anyway.
I guess I just want to know if anyone knows the best way to publish a cell pic to a free web hoster.

Download images to your computer.
Upload images to free web host.
Is that about it?

Well, here’s where I get confused. I can send pics from the phone to my inbox, but the address from my phone is the number itself. What I want to avoid is having my cell number avail to anyone looking into the source of a pic. (i.e. checking source of the pic)
Maybe it’s a little paranoia and I have nothing to worry about. Or not. That’s why I’m here.
For better info, I use CellularOne. So if anyone is familiar with that, any info is appreciated.
One thought I had, and if anyone can tell me if this would work please do. Would it be easier to send the pic to my email, burn it to a CD-RW and upload it that way? Or is there still a trace of the phone number?

I’m sorry but your post makes no sense to me.
Are you able to download images from your phone to your computer? If so, then merely upload them to your free host web site. What does your cell number have to do with it?
If you can email images from your cell phone to an email account, di I assume the images are an attachment to the email or embedded in the emil? In either case, copy the image from the email to your hard drive and upload them to your free host site.
The point is, it should make no difference how the images were created, be it a cell phone camera, a digital camera, you grabbed an image from the web, someone sent an image to you, yadda, yadda.

OK, that makes more sense than what I was trying to say. I was wearing the tinfoil hat when I opened this, I guess. Simple damn common sense should have told me this. :smack:
