# Free Web Pages that Support PERL and CGI?

Does anyone know of any free web pages that support PERL scripting and CGI?

I can probably save you a lot of looking and tell you that you wont find any.

Since PERL and CGI require server side changes and permissions that would allow a… less than nice… person to cause great harm and trouble at the hosting site.

It is difficult to find pay sites that will just let you throw whatever you want on them.

Yeah, I was 95% sure this was the case, but then again you never know what you will find out there.

Try [http://www.tripod.com](http://www.tripod.com) - although they restrict you a lot (obviously for security reasons) they allow you to write your own PERL/CGI scripts/programs. You get 50Megs of space free.

Do want to write your own CGI scripts? try [cgi-resources.com](http://cgi-resources.com)  
free…[most] plenty of remotely hosted scripts there, the scripts work but are kept for you on another server.
