I have some Perl script chat software I want to modify and run, but no money for a hosting budget at this time. Does anyone know of a free hosting service which supports Perl (4.0 minimum) and possibly PHP and MySQL? None of the major ones like Geocities or Anglefire explicitly say they do, so I assume they do not. I’m not expecting a lot of storage space or transfer allotments, just something to get the thing up and running for a few people to use. Thanks in advance.

Tripod allows some PERL functionality. It’s somewhat restricted for security reasons. I don’t believe they allow MySQL or PHP, however.

Try [Spaceports.com](http://Spaceports.com). It’s been a while, but I remember them being free and supporting PHP and MySQL.

Spaceports sounds like the ticket so far. I’m going to give them a try, thanks.
