No one should be surprised if Trump, the liar’s liar, delivers a prerecorded video from an air conditioned room onto a big screen at the lamefest. I tuned in to Fox for a minute, as I often do, to see what crap they’re rapping. Todd Blanche was singing his master’s praises, blah blah blah, then war criminal Kegsbreath was ranting about the “ingrates out there”, which sounded to me like there is a large, vocal protest. At least we know it got under his slimy skin, otherwise he wouldn’t acknowledge them. ---

Anyone who knows a musician who wants to try it, let me know. **A Cow Named Melania** There’s a fair way down in DC That Trump wants you to see It highlights what he wants the country to be It’s got empty tents, sky-high rents, and a cow named Melania It’s got infrastructure failing, farmers wailing, and a cow named Melania He says America is the Land of the Free, But it’s only if you pay his hefty fee Which is way too much for you or me It’s got an algae-covered pool, Hegseth the drunken fool, and a cow named Melania It’s got trade complaints about Canada, a plan to take over Panama, and a cow named Melania He says he’ll make manifest our destinty But what he really wants is currency Stealing all the money from you and me It’s got sky-high inflation, a Greenland invasion, and a cow named Melania It’s got beachheads on Venezuela’s shores, another Iranian war, and a cow named Melania. He says, “Come and see the new DC, It’s the place you’ve got to be” But there’s no place there for you or me, Only that tyrant wannabe, and his cow named Melania I’m thinking we can make it open-ended, so anyone can add a line about “Stupid Trump thing 1, stupid Trump thing 2, and a cow named Melania”. Given the number of stupid things he’s done, it will be nearly infinte in its permutations. ---

I found a YouTube short where a young woman from _The Washingtonian_ toured and gave her impressions. She was very kind, far more kind than most people reporting on this, but you can tell that she thought it was pretty much crap. Imagine if that fallen stage piece had landed on someone and killed them. The only thing I could think of being more emblematic of this whole failed she-bang is if Trump sees maybe 140 people watching him on July 4. ---

Over the past couple of weeks I’ve had a terrible feeling that somebody, or multiple people, are going to wind up dying at this ridiculous scam of a “fair” before everything is said and done. I was more thinking along the lines of a second amendment nut job exercising their constitutional rights rather than falling scenery or architecture. But it could simply be from negligence rather than malevolence. That seems as likely to me. To be clear, I am not wishing for this. Like I said it’s more of a terrible feeling. ---
