Post here before your night out! Post again after your night out! Compare the results, hilarity ensues! Deep thought, stream of consciousness, it don’t matta! I shall set the example. So, I’m planning on going over to my friend Dave’s house tonight. Usually, we get a couple six-packs of beer, and barbecue some food, and shoot the breeze till 3 am or so. Tonight, I’m getting a fifth of Bacardi, and we’re going to have mixed drinks. Either Bacardi, or Capn’ Morgan. Cap is just so damn good, you know? Anyway, we installed his satellite dish the other week, and havent’ really had a chance to check it out. Sometimes, we’ll watch the Game Show channel, and laugh our asses off at the fashions from the early 80’s and late 70’s. It’s going to be a good night. When I catch my cab home, I shall tell the story of where we went, how much rum we drank, and how my brain feels. Good luck, and merry partying! ---

Pre-cider Ginger checking in. I am hoping that I will stay fully clothed but other than that there usually isn’t much difference between sober Ginger and not-so-sober Ginger. ---

Tonight a few of the guys are coming over, we may play some poker, or we may end up going out to the bar down the street. Either way it’ll be a cheap night, because I have some beer and a fully stocked bar at home, or if we go out, its free beer night at the bar. Any beer in the place, not just nasty light beer or something crappy like that. ---

In my humble village, it’s First Friday Art Night. All the galleries will be open, serving munchies and wine. Then, dinner at a favorite restaurant; LeGrands. This will be complimented with a bodacious bottle of Pacific Northwest Pinot Noir. (Possibly Sokol Blosser’s Redlands?) Afterwards, we shall retire to the fiancee’s digs. Where another bottle shall be sacrificed, and we shall hone our dart skills. (Can you say spackle?)🙂 Or maybe just a roll in the hay, should our motor-functions be less than desirable for darts. ::cue:: ‘Why Don’t We Get Drunk and Screw’!!!🙂 ---

Every friday night is the same: 1. Drive home from work, 2. Get on my bike, 3. Pedal to the [Railroad Blues](http://www.railroadblues.com), 4. Drink, Smoke, Drink, Smoke, ad infinitum (ad nauseum on a bad night), 5. Pedal back home (uphill–aargh!) Strangely: 1. I’m already home (got bored tonight), and 2. The above not only applies to Friday night, but to Monday night–and usually at least 1-2 other nights–as well. Ah… life in an isolated, rural, small town! ---

I’m already fresh back from my Friday night out–split a bottle of chardonnay with my hubby at a tres fancy Chi-town restaurant for our anniversary–had to get home in time to put the kidlums to bed. I’m feelin’ comfortable–about to head over to GD to see if I have to respond to a thread about the difference between the Fed and the Fed Reserve Banks again–if I do, I swear I’ll be able to explain it better now than I did this afternoon.😉 I raise my virtual glass to the SDMB!
