IMHO… Family Guy: Still got it. Maybe not the most excellent Family Guy ep ever, but still very good. 🆒 And, according to TV Tome, that was _actually Bill Ratner_ doing Flint’s voice, probably for the last time. Double “🆒” American Dad (aka “I hate Republicans…Republicans are so stupid…I hate Republicans…”): Still pretty lame. _Slightly_ funnier than the sneak preview, though. And I watched two new episodes of the Simpsons, for the first time in about a year. The funniest part was watching Steven Hawking, playing himself, calmly describing the gravitational lens caused by a microsingularity. [pause] Yeah. ---

I dunno, I thought the Spring Break episode where Lois basically hinted to Meg that Meg was concieved because Lois didn’t know that taking antibiotics while on the Pill would cancel out the Pill. Not the best episode, but still a good one. I think that it’s going to take a while to get back into their characters. ---

That whole scene where they were driving out to the Cape was so funny. I don’t know if I laughed harder when he woke Lois up by jostling the car or when he was reading a Jughead comic (with hysterical commentary). Oh, I know, it was when he started reading Jughead again after the accident. Okay, there are a lot of inside jokes on that show that I get because of where I work and live, but that could have been a scene from my marriage. ---

That Geppeto joke was awful. Geppetto is supposed to be Pinocchios father… He may not be a real boy yet but that is the relationship between the two. Sorry but the so called gag isn’t funny at all, unless of course, you really think child molestation jokes are a hoot. The rest of the episode did have me laughing though. ---

I think they only included shows that began after Family Guy and ended before its return. Otherwise the list of cancelled Fox shows would have been a HECK OF A LOT longer! 😃 And I too was worried about Arrested Development being on the list. Wouldn’t that have been a cruel (and FUNNY) way to announce its cancellation!? ---

Not only are child molestation jokes SOMETIMES a hoot (\*), the fact that someone has the gall to tell one on a major network in primetime makes it that much funnier. That said, gepetto is not Pinocchio’s father. Pinocchio is a puppet. Technically, there were two pedophile jokes in the episode. Pinocchio and the old pervert dressed up like a kid at the dance. Both were funny! 🙂 What was missing? Quagmyre, Cleveland and Joe. And they could have hit us with a little Mayor West while they were at it. Also, wouldn’t it have been funnier to put the black bar over Tucker’s kid’s mouth on the newscast? All in all, a very average episode of FG. It may have suffered a bit from heightened expectations. I was hoping for a homerun the first night out, but I got stand-up double. I’ll take it. ---
