# Friggin' or Frikkin'?

Mojo - was the WTF about the Prince of Insufficient Light and “heck”? Sorry, it wasn’t meant to be that obscure, and certainly isn’t original: in one of Scott Adams’ Dilbert books, there’s a dreaded demon who turns out to be the P. of I.L. and the worst threat he makes is “I darn you to Heck.”

I personally like to use “frikkin’” or “freakin’”. Now I have no qualms about using “fucking” in every day conversation. I just think “frikkin’” has a nice ring to it, such as “Man, that is frikkin’ crazy.”

I also really like the Sex Pistols’ rendition of “Frigging in the Rigging”.

I’ve always liked friggin’. No “g” on the end. Although I use the word fuck upwards of 100 times daily, there’s something unexplainably soul-satisfying about the phrase “Friggin’ A!”

Well, I dig it anyway.

If you can’t say fuckin’ (which should be your first choice), say freakin’. For some reason, freakin’ sounds less watered down than the other alternatives, but is only borderline vulgar.
