A mom I know has identical twin spinster aunts. They are in their 70’s. Their names: **Verna & Viola** :eek: ---

In the town where I grew up there were twins with the names Viola and Iola. I’m a twin myself and we have the same first letter in our names, which I never much cared for but always thought was preferable to rhyming. ---

I kid you not, two children who discovered nicknames very early: Oedipus and his sister Jocasta. Their parents found the names on a site and had never read the play. They thought it would make them sound educated. (Luckily, The children go by Ed and Casey.) ---

I used to know a few pairs of twins back at school but Og knows if I can remember them. It wouldn’t be that bad but my best friend has a friend who’s dating one of them so I feel I should know. My mum used to look after twins called Millie and Grace. Is that bad enough? ---

There were twins in my high school who had flaming red hair. Their names? Jack and Jill. I shit you not. Personally, I’ve always like Pete and Repeat, and for those of Hispanic descent, Jose’ and Hose B. ---
