The 13th Doctor is being unveiled by the BBC immediately after the Men’s Singles Final at Wimbledon, on Sunday 16th July. Because that’s the logical time and place to do so. ---

It’ll be some English guy that I never heard of before. Just like the other times. I do hope they don’t go back to boyish Doctors. It’s been nice having a proper Doctor with a few wrinkles. ---

John De Lancie would be an excellent choice. He’s great at playing exaggerated, bigger than life roles. Recently on Breaking Bad. He’s changed a lot since his Star Trek days and wouldn’t be confused with Q. He was in the Torchwood Miracle Day miniseries. ---

I don’t really want anyone who regularly appears on panel shows. It would be hard for me to see them as the Doctor and not their goofy self. So no Ayoade, at least.
