That’s hilarious and will tell this to my parents for the next time they are asked.
You forgot to shout “Marmaduke!!”.
I miss my Dane - she was a lovely dog, despite her rough start in life.

‘Can’ and ‘should’ are different concepts.
I will give you an entire truckload of meatballs for that gorgeous baby! (yes, I know, you would NEVER trade
, but it’s out there, just in case).
Both daddy and his mini-me are real beauties.
I agree that Costco’s Kirkland brand meatballs are not bad. When my sons still lived at home, they liked to make meatball sammichs out of French bread, marinara sauce, and frozen meatballs. I’d keep a bag in the freezer for them and occasionally would pop 2 or 3 in a plate of pasta and sauce myself. I’ve never met a pre-made meatball that had the proper texture, though, even if the taste is there.
Aldi has some that are okay. Nothing at all like homemade but if I can make a cream sauce and let it cook on low in the slow cooker, then toss with egg noodles if I’m not in the mood for home cooked. They are rubbery though.
A lot of frozen meatballs have soy protein in them, which you might not want to feed to your stunningly beautiful dog. It’s probably the soy that screws up the texture and gives the cardboard flavor.
