Wonder if the timing of this attack was staged to avoid or at least postpone a major market sell-off by panicky investors. By the time Wall St. is back open for business on Monday, Trump can have declared victory with fewer short-term 401k consequences, and purchasers of oil stocks will be rewarded. It was working in that Iran was sticking to the terms of the deal, and allowing the inspections necessary to keep their nuclear program from progressing further. Hypothetically, if it had kept up until now (with everyone sticking to it), Iran’s nuclear program would have been frozen up to the present. As to the rest – you’re the cowardly chickenhawk cheering on the worst liars, and most incompetent people, in the world (seriously? You’re trusting Hegseth and Trump to wage this war effectively and with a positive outcome for anyone?), in a war with no apparent plan or even clearly stated mission. 2 years ago do you think you’d be surprised to hear that you would be _happy_ that Trump and Hegseth were starting and leading a war in the Middle East against a country that poses no threat to the US? I’d laugh if it weren’t so tragically infuriating. Seriously. Trump and Hegseth. That’s whose judgement and leadership and expertise you’re hanging your hat on here. But lucky for you, no personal risk to you! No plan on signing up, I presume. Please, by all means, prove me wrong.
