How do you know what Khamenei wanted? For all we know the Iranian government is going to come off stronger when it’s done. Trump may declare victory and abandon everything. Who the hell knows what’s going to happen? Certainly not Trump and Hegseth, and certainly not you. And that’s the problem – wars of choice like this are inherently unpredictable. When idiots are in charge, as they are, it’s even more so. No, I don’t trust a handpicked Hegseth flag officer. Certainly not without a clearly defined mission and long term plan, neither of which appear to exist for this war. ---
