This Iranian government appears to be no more capable/willing of offering long-term peace than this US government is capable/willing of respecting the due process rights of migrants and minorities (or, for that matter, than this Israeli government is capable/willing of respecting the rights of Palestinians in the WB and protecting them from settler thugs). ---

An Iranian government with a “peace with Israel/America” platform would just be making it that much harder for them to stay in power. _Especially_ if they took over from the present regime; they might as well cut their own throat. Short of the US or Israel nuking them into unconditional surrender I don’t see it as happening. ---
