I’m guessing @Babale and @Wesley_Clark are surely past the denial phase of grief over this war. What are they going through, do you think? Here’s my guess: Anger: Fuck this administration for screwing it up, fuck the Iranians for being so stubborn, and most of all, fuck the Dopers criticizing us warmongers… why can’t they see that this was the right move and just executed poorly? Bargaining: If only the strikes at the beginning were a little stronger, the Iranian administration would have fallen and democracy would have flowered! If only the country stood strongly behind Trump and Hegseth, maybe they’d have had the wherewithal to finish the war and topple the regime! Depression: Oh god, I can’t believe I was so stupid. How could I have been this dumb? What the fuck was I thinking? I trusted Trump and Hegseth, for god’s sake! And worst of all, those Doper assholes aren’t going to let me forget it. I can’t face admitting the truth to them. It would just be too pathetic… Acceptance: ??? ---
