By the way, Google up some pictures of Letterman’s wife, Regina Lasko. Yikes! I think I now understand a little bit why he would be so irrationally hateful to an attractive woman like Sarah Palin. He probably wishes Regina could pull off the ‘slutty flight attendant’ look; instead, she’s stuck with looking like a pug-ugly linebacker! There’s a damn good reason why he never mentions Lasko and she’s very rarely seen in public. ---

In fairness, Ms. Lasko, though undoubtedly a nice lady, is rather homely. On the other hand, if he had some bangin’ twentysomething on his arm I’d bet **Stephe96** would have something to say about that, too. ---

He said she had slutty style. Saying someone dresses like a slut and calling someone a slut one are two different things. And she didn’t say she didn’t want her daughter around someone who would say those things. She said he “can’t be trusted” around her. To any parent, that’s code for molester. The joke was not about anybody having sex. If it were, the punchline would have been “A-Rod stuffed his pecker up her hoo-haa” or something. It was a comment on the fact that Bristol Palin, despite her sterling abstinence only upbringing, some how managed to get pregnant. And on A-Rod’s allegedely philandering ways. Second, my comment was on the fact that when Palin offers some truly stupid, back-peddling interpretation of her own joke … well that’s perfectly legitimate and in no way shows any sort of hypocricy whatsoever. I know whether to laugh or cry. I’ll laugh … because this whole pile of goofiness is nothing but laughable. On the other hand, I hope she keeps up until Letterman makes \*her \*cry. Dave Letterman clearly comes out on top. Last night he said “everything’s Ok between ma and Sarah Palin: she’s invited me to go hunting with her”. I would have added “She told me it was at the suggestion of Dick Cheney… I don’t know what that means.” She knows she cannot go on the show without losing. Dave can explain and defend his jokes but how can Palin answer the question “what do you mean when you say you want to keep your daughter away from me? What exactly do you think I might do to your daughter?” She’s an embarrassment.
