Palin’s reactions/actions remind me of that one crazy neighbor in every neighborhood, the one that would rather escalate than communicate. The one that’s always in some psycho fight with somebody, anybody. I’m a Letterman fan, I saw the jokes, I saw the clarification, I’ve seen all her remarks. I think it was a lazy throw-away joke, I believe he intended no malice, and I think they should both let it go. It was never as big of a deal as people are making it. ---

Yes, sex education has been a triumph in the UK since its introduction in the 60s. The more they increase it and the more the age of its introduction is lowered the more the rate of teenage pregnancies inexorably climbs. One might be forgiven for wondering if there’s a correlation between those facts. ---
