IIRC, the other insults you mentioned didn’t make national news. I was reading about Letterman’s so-called joke on the online news sites at least a day and maybe more before Palin spoke out about it. Given that, I would think she’d be duty-bound to speak up and defend her daughters, whereas the other gags more or less flew under the radar and challenging them would only have given them publicity. ---

Well. OK, but who made it “national news”? Nobody made national news out of the others, whats different here? Which major or minor news outlets first called it “national news”? If I were to guess, I’d think maybe it was that network that rhymes with “sucks”. ---

Well needless to say I strongly disagree with you there. Sarah Palin was raked over the coals over how she paraded her children out like props, using them to further her career. She was criticized vehemently about being a bad mother because she dragged her Down Syndrome child around the country, and put her underage, pregnant daughter in the spotlight to potentially (and in reality) become a punching bag. If Sarah Palin had stood up and defended her children from such malicious and uncalled-for nastiness, I think she would’ve been hailed as a fierce advocate for her children. Instead, she kept her mouth shut when they were getting the worst of it. This is the thread that keeps on giving. For that alone I’d like to thank the thick-skulled wingnuts that keep it alive. I’d also like to propose a title change to something referencing “The Return Of The Killer Zombies,” for it has seen the return of two of my favorite posters: **ETF** and now, 'Mow ‘em Down’ **Shayna** …who’s obviously as sharp as ever if not more. So please, kids (18 and over please) keep it afloat. Who knows what the future holds? The return of **Mr S** and **Patriot X**? ## Good show. **ETF** : Glad to hear all is well by you. As for myself, my left wallet buttcheek hurts. Other than that, couldn’t be better. ---
