Rush’s joke was making fun of Chelsea’s appearance when she was 13(ish). Dave’s joke was making fun Sarah Palin (and her stance on sex ed) and Alex Rodiguiz (and his bed-hopping ways.) The two jokes are not comparable. Even though Dave’s joke reference’s Bristol, she’s not the punchline. Furthermore, one is a direct insult to a tween’s looks - the other is an unnamed reference to a teenager’s genuine actions. Watching conservatives try to play the tu quoque card is like watching Bullwinkle pull a rabbit out of a hat. Only, you know, not funny. ---
