Israel left Gaza of its own free will, and the vast majority of Israelis are glad we did it. I’m not surprised to see you repeating the Palestinian canard that Israel still rules Gaza. I just hope you understand the reasoning behind it; namely, that the Palestinians don’t really want independance. Being independant means being responsible for your own actions, and that’s the last thing they want. They’d rather have someone - anyone - other than themselves to blame. ---

It’s hard to argue that Israel doesn’t rule Gaza when it still controls air, water and borders, and controls access to external resources. Israel may not technically _govern_ Gaza anymore, but they still _control_ it. ---
