This is what we get for letting being an elected official become just another flavor of celebrity influencer. She had not felt the need to write a book about all this before. She just carried on as a regular Hard Right Wingnut politician through her career and for South Dakota that was enough to get her to state legislature, Congressional seat, and governor. But with the possibility of riding you-know-who’s coattails to national prominence, well… apparently you HAVE to write a book about your hero’s journey to play in that league. ---

Like 10 seconds of captivity, followed by a mild pain in her mid-shoulders. If I could do the humane method for the dog myself, I would. But I can’t, and would hate to make a mistake trying. Some things are better left to people who know what they are doing. ---

Perhaps you can get a prescription for valium or some other tranquillizer and give it to your dog a hour or so before you go to the vet’s office. ---
