Fuck my luck!

White guy, scowl on his face? Can’t miss him.

Just don’t fall in love with his wife.

Anyway, his phone and e-mail are here.

On a similar note, my flight was delayed by 20 minutes yesterday. I made the connection, though.

Monday morning update.

Went straight round to the Police HQ this morning and… no one is available to take a report.

So went back to the office. Downloaded the forms for the NZ passport. That can be sent to the NZ regional passport office in the UK. Only snag is I need a kiwi to countersign the application and photos.

The Brit Passport is quite tricky. They prefer to get you to renew it when you are back in the UK. That’s not an option for me so I need to use the UK Regional passport centre which is in Pretoria. They will process it and then … send it to the UK for printing! The UK will dispatch it to me here in PG. They reckon four weeks in total.

Now that could be interesting as if I remember I only had about 4 weeks or so remaining on my visa!

Anyway I have finished writing out my police report. Asked the receptionist to translate it into french. It may save a bit of time when I get to the Police HQ.
even sven I am kinda hoping that too. Its not without precedent. I have heard of stolen passports and documents being dropped off at the French embassy here. Am going to get myself over there after lunch.

Which passport is it that has the visa for Gabon? That should be the one to worry about at the moment, shouldn’t it?
