Why in the fuck is my credit union closed on Good Friday? It’s a _state employee’s_ credit union and, last I checked, Good Friday is a religious holiday. Separation of church and state anyone? My rent doesn’t get Good Friday off, why does the bank? ---

On Saturdays, I was innocently messing around in the garden and managed to cut my right knuckle with a hacksaw. There is other minor damage to 2 other fingers but I cut a 1/3 inch flap of skin up. Right on the second knuckle down on my index finger. Just the perfect place to bump every time I try to use my right hand. I just managed to hit it while opening a drawer. AND, despite me keeping it clean and covered, I think its starting to get infected. I HATE it when I do this sort of dumb stuff. I even saw it coming in time to think “this is going to hurt”, but not soon enough to actually move my hand all of the way out of the way. :mad: ---

Well, in addition to the sliver of tooth that’s digging into the side of my tongue, I now have an abscessed tooth on the other side. And no dentist can see me, even as an emergency, for almost a week. ---

I hate Easter eggs. I can never bring myself to use them after easter festivities. That faint blue stain on the egg white and the fact that the kids had handled them. Ew! ---

The egg dying fun and festivities has happened, no tears. It was a rip-roaring success. Thank god. Son-wrekker came and got the girls. Now I am cleaning with bleach. My left hand is mostly pinkish-red. And my shorts are stained green in spots. Glad it’s over. ---

I have one of those egg cooking appliances that you put the eggs in, add water and turn on. It doed hard boiled, soft boiled and poached.
