Seems a little odd to snipe at me three weeks after the fact in a thread I was last involved in 8 years ago.
But since you asked, if the prosecution now believes the original trial was deficient, then I have no objection to his being retried.
The thread just came up in my notifications - I hadn’t remembered reading it, so I did so earlier today, and the willful ignorance on display in your posts just flabbergasted me, to the point I felt compelled to comment.
Amazing how fast the criminal justice system works; Glossip has only been locked up since 1997.
And you had no objection, seven years before the prosecution came to that conclusion, to executing him. If he had been executed, and they then came to that decision, what then?
People on death row getting last-minute reprieves is not proof that The System works, because the people who work so hard to get those reprieves aren’t part of The System. If it were just The System, then all of those reprieved people would have been killed.
Just because they’re “mentally-challenged” doesn’t mean they’re not a danger to society
And killing them is not the only route to take.
Sorry, when I hear “medical experts” say “he’s okay when he takes his medicine” but then stops taking it and kills a victim, I don’t have confidence in freedom for uncontrolled criminal behavior
