If anything, the fact that you’re throwing in my face that “boo-boo” is “overwhemingly known” to mean an injury is what’s blatantly culturally elitist. I’ve never heard a person use it that way in real life, but I guess I’m not a part of the right culture. ---

Then perhaps _The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition_ is culturally elitist. I’ve certainly heard people call it such. But it lists two definitions for _booboo_: a minor fuckup, and a minor injury. (And apropos of nothing, can I be the only person here with a Spongebob line going through my head? “I slipped on an ice cube and got covered in booboos!”) ---

All _pizzabrat_ is telling you that in among his peer group and in his neighborhood, “boo boo” is the word used for “poo.” It’s like a Brit trying to tell you that “crisps” means “chips” and you arguing with him and telling him there’s no such thing and that an overwhelming majority of people use the word “chips.” What am I missing? ---

Outside of that song (which is indeed about a girl he hates, not one he likes), women are referred to almost exclusively as Goddesses and Ladies. In fact, if I had to say the album had one theme it would be the worship and respect of females. ---

C’mon, **Cisco** – just admit that was a hasty comment. Obviously, the OP and several other folks had no idea that “boo-boo” means “shit.” Since they didn’t know that, there’s no way that they could also have known that its connotation is much less childish and that it has much higher comedic value than “poo-poo.” I don’t know if **Cisco** knew the meaning or not. But those who didn’t know this are probably NOT qualified to comment on whether the lyric in question is childish, annoying, and/or whether the penalty for writing it should be sodomy with a pool stick. As **pizzabrat** said, his comment doesn’t seem to fit into the definition of “culturally elitist.” **Pizzabrat** was merely fighting ignorance by explaining the meaning and opining that those who needed the explanation were not qualified to comment on the lyric. ---

I can’t hear the chorus without picturing someone forcing someone else to smell their own waste - why else would they “lean a little closer”? That coupled with the obvious contempt combines to make an image that is very disturbing to me, so I avoid the song.
