FISH!!! Oh God, that was great. I couldn’t believe it after Duncan made his prayer shot. I really thought that was going to be the series backbreaker - I mean, does anyone ever make those turn and shoot .4 second shots? Of course not. But it went down. Nice. It may turn out that the least likely of my predictions is the only one that comes true. Oh yeah, the whole thing would have been a billion times better without the twenty three time outs between Duncan’s shot and Fisher’s shot. There was something like a half hour of dead time in between. ---

That was the greatest ending to a basketball game that I have ever seen. I couldn’t believe that Duncan made that shot, and I thought there was no way that the Lakers could score with 0.4 seconds left. ---

I’m in complete denial. I keep replaying Fish’s shot in slow motion, looking for something to bitch about - but it’s damn near a perfect .4 second shot. Clock started fine, left his hands before zero. Amazing. Derek Fisher. ---

I find it physically impossible to watch a Laker’s game for any amount of time, so I’m wondering, has Malone been getting any playing time at all? ---

In slo-mo, you can see that the ref needed a fraction of a second, may be 0.1s, to start the clock which is all the time Fish needed to catch and get ready for the turnaround heave. It is physically impossible for the ref to start the clock instantaneously as Fish got the ball. Anyway, the Lakeshow moves on. ---

I think Reggie deserves a ring as well. May be Malone should have signed with Indy! Karl was repeatedly thwarted by Jordan but Reggie and the Pacers are the only team to take the Bulls to seven games. And in the seventh game, they lost due to untimely poor defensive rebounding… ---

Actually, the Bulls went to seven games with Jordan a few times- against the Pistons in the '90 Eastern Finals, the Knicks in '92, and then Indiana. The Knicks also beat them in 7 in '94, but that was without MJ. For what it’s worth. ---
