Who says I would be crying over that, you have to break a few eggs to make the omlette 😃 Besides, don’t start complaining when we bomb Muslim towns and cities, or cry foul when we invade countries, when we have had planes slammed into trade centres peoples heads cut off, people in the Islamic world openely express their loyalty to these kinds of people (I know they are not of a majority, but they are of sizable amount). If you couldn’t judge the outcome of what would happen after that, then don’t do it. Do you feel worked up yet? I said what I said because some Muslims think of themselves as the eternal victim. It isn’t true, we all are. ---

There are other nations that could support Israel but will they? China’s going to start sending Israel billions in aid? I guess India’s coffers are overflowing with cash. Do either of those two nations have an interest in Israel large enough to alienate the Arab world by supporting you? ---

The Christian Crusaders had a goal (besides pillaging, looting, sacking, and what have you): boot those heathen infidels out of Jerusalem. They succeeded exactly once, before the Muslims soundly booted them out, beginning with the recapture of Edessa in 1144. The Crusaders tried seven more times and each time it got worse. So yeah, Muslims definitely kicked Christian arse. And **Snaggletooth** , get a life. ---

And if you’ll look at your chart, you’ll see that the pre-1967 aid was just nickle-and-dime stuff. 2. Things would get bad, I admit. Things would get very bad for a while. But I can assure you, things would get much, much worse fro the Arabs in general and the Palestinians in particular. 3. We really could do without the U.S. financial aid - it may hurt our standard of living for a bit, and the military might have to downsize (while stil remaining far more powerful than anything in the area) - but it’s a monkey we would do good to take off our back. We’ve been relying on foreign support for far too long. As for other nations: we probably have enough to offer them in return. ---
