It was still called a crusade, and entailled the same benefits (I’m refering to the spiritual ones, not to the land-grabing part) as the crusades in the Holy Land.
This quote is generally attributed to the (infamous) military leader Simon de Montfort (though sometimes to the pope legate), when someone remembered him that there were also “good christians” living in the besieged town that just fell in his power.
I think the OP will be proud of such a noble spiritual and intellectual lineage.
I’m sick of him. Nuke his ass and take his cash. Kill’im and let his God sort him out. After that we should send all of our nuclear waist and garbage and make his house a large land fill…Done
Seen the fact that you so openly support idiots like the OP there are a few remarks to make:
Start all over again with your up to now crappy reading on the Crusades.
Take the blindfold of lazyness from your eyes and figure out where and when and by whom Western invaders and occupyers were driven out again. Over and over again.
Don’t come crying when current invaders get killed by some of the angry invaded popularions.
Don’t come crying when citizens of nations that are actively involved in currently invading and occupying come under some sort of attack.
So you believe. Without the US’ money, votes on the Security Council or other support, how long would Israel last as a nation? How long before the rest of the world put a bitch-slap on Israel for its actions against the Palestinians?
Probably not since Aldebaran hasn’t said anything concerning me. As for anyone dumping on me, so fucking what? After phybre made you look like a fool and you ran here like a sorry bitch to whine, you’re the leader of the fuckwits.
The Long Road - I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree. I’d just like you to take a few facts into consideration:
Israel managed to win just fine in 1967 without U.S. support.
How would this “bitch-slap” happen? Would it be military? Even if, say, Europe had the will to attack Israel - and it doesn’t - they don’t have the capability. They’re not the U.S., and we’re not Iraq.
There are other nations that could support Israel besides the U.S. India, for instance. Or China.
