This almost looks like something from the Onion or Babylon Bee. Temporary tattoos are common for kids that age, but a permanent one? Something smells fishy here. ---

I think the Inker handled it the best he could have. The parents, though… THEY don’t even have an understanding of what’s going on her body, permanently, let alone her. They’ll fit right in. 🙄 ---

Had a salon appointment yesterday and got to hear from my stylist about the “illegal”( who was given a smartphone at the border!) who came in and got a $300 hair coloring; the tenants she couldn’t evict because of COVID, and, naturally, how Mayor Bass cut 23M from the fire department’s budget. She’s a good stylist and is very kind to me (she no doubt thinks I’m of her political persuasion) but yeah, fuck her. While she blathers, I mentally fact check and refute just about everything that comes out of her mouth. ---

I am embarrassed to admit that I’d never known the provenance of that quote and if pressed, I probably would have attributed it to Winston Churchill or somesuch. As for doing nothing, if I stood up to all the likeminded fools around here, I’d never have time to do anything else. Besides, she had sharp scissors in her hand. ---

I once sat in the chair of a MAGA stylist. As she spouted her requisite talking points, I politely explained why her assertions were incorrect. She ruined my hair. It took 2 1/2 years to grow out. Not the worst thing that could happen, but I’d think twice before piping up again. ---
