I agree with this. I used to dismiss anything Brad Pitt was in because “well, he’s just another pretty boy.” But his work is pretty danged good in many of his films. It is much the same for me with Mr. Dicaprio.
I will wait for the DVD for this, but I almost always do.

Heh. It cost me over $100. I took my gf _and_ my ex-gf (yes, at the same time!), paid for their tickets, drinks and dinner, and sat there quietly while they drooled over Brad Pitt.
Really, I am a nice guy.
Oh, re: Mr. Pitt- He’s a lot like Tom Cruise to me. In a position that they’d be easy targets for mockery if they ever started to suck, but I gotta hand it to 'em for being good actors. If you haven’t seen _Killing Them Softly_, you should check it out.

Tom Cruise was excellent as the vampire Lestat, but that was a role in which he was _required_ to suck!
