I think that most people suggested that it was a bad idea for VCO3 to work on his breadboarding project because it’s likely to freak out other passengers (or that the small space and frequent motion make it a bad place to do so). But another reason why it’s a bad idea (and I don’t think I’ve heard anyone make this argument) is the possibility of electromagnetic interference, given that there will be no shielding on the components. ---

It would probably work against him, because he couldn’t claim to have been ignorant of the possibility that he would cause alarm and/or face criminal charges. ---

[/QUOTE] I was about to compare it to the reasons **Der Trihs** keeps loudly insisting that anyone with any religious belief is mentally ill/ignorant/deluded, and that US soldiers in Iraq deserve to be killed. But then I realized that I actually believe that **DT** at least fully believes in what he says, about deep issues that are still controversial, and have been debated for centuries. This case, not so much. (Except maybe in the belief part, and I’m still not 100% sure there…) ---
