OK, **VCO3** , let me give you one, key tangible difference between knitting and breadboarding. I’ve done both, by the way. When a person’s knitting, all the components they’re working with are attached to each other, and people are only working with 2 to 6 components. When a person’s breadboarding, they’re working with multiple components which aren’t attached to each other. What do you plan on doing when the airplane hits a patch of turbulence and sends your work flying? What do you plan on doing when the person next to you bumps your tray table and knocks components off it? Hunting for relatively small objects in economy class isn’t exactly fun or easy and if the plane’s taking off or landing, getting out of your seat to do so would be frowned on. Also, why do you want to do something you know has a pretty high risk of “freaking people out”? Are you so self-indulgent the concerns of others means little to you? Have you so little courtesy that you’d choose to make others fearful so you can indulge yourself? If so, fair enough, but please know that doesn’t make you cool, edgy, or original, merely rude. ---
