Seriously, you’re comparing the Cloverfield monster to one of the misfits of Ashanti. Yeah, what the left has done to California economically will buff right out. I don’t like what the religious right has done to the republican party, but don’t kid yourself that the other side isn’t doing long-term damage to this country too. That’s why I would rather work at trying to regain control from the crazies rather that trading one extreme for the other. If the Democratic Party wants to get its wacko wing under control then I’ll be there with you. If all you want to do is say the Republicans are worse, that’s not good enough. ---

I am concentrating on that side first. I just don’t agree that the way to fix it is to blindly go along with the other side, and then hope that not too much damage is done before we can fix that. ---
