It’s bad enough you cancelled one of the best animated shows since _The Tick_ (sniff, sniff) but then you have the _cojones_ to _tease_ me by telling me it’s coming on but then it _doesn’t_ come on! According to your web site, the Green One should come on at 9:30, Friday night. Well, I was home this Friday. Betcha didn’t expect _that_, huh? At 9:30 I was parked in front of my T.V., eagerly awaiting the _Invader Zim_ theme song. Wanna know what I heard, instead? Wanna know? Huh? _I don’t fucking remember!_ Know why? Because I was too blind with murderous rage to remember. Grrrrrrrrrrrr. After ten minutes of cursing the very soil on which the ediface stands which houses the room in which the vile concept of Nickelodeon was born, I hear the most glorious of sounds. Yes, I thought, it’s coming on! _It’s coming on_. I start dancing around my living room, after carefully checking the curtains were closed, of course. Yay! So I watch and laugh, overjoyed that I got my fix. But you weren’t done with me, you assmonkeys, were you? Oh, no. You only played one segment! I only got eleven minutes of Zim. You fuckers!!! You mickey flickey motherfuckers! One lousy, fricken fracken segment! Arrrrggggggghhhhhhhh!!! So I manage to get on with my life, somehow. I make it through Saturday, albeit in a fog. Today, I check the digital cable schedule. What’s scheduled to come on at 1 today? _Invader Zim_. Awwwwwwwwww, yeah. I set the reminder (as if I need to!), make breakfast, brew a fine pot of Trader Joe’s East Meets West coffee and check the Boards. Finally, finally one o’clock rolls around. I turn on the television and what’s on? Jimmy Fucking Neutron. _Jimmy Fucking Neutron!!!_. “That’s not fair!”, I screech at the T.V., “That’s not fair!” (I had to keep my anger rated G because the kids were in the room). Dejected and depressed, I make my way to the den. Maybe, just maybe, Comcast (my digital cable provider) is the liar. I check [nick.com](http://nick.com) and found that _Invader Zim_ is supposed to come on Sundays at noon for a _full hour_. It didn’t come on at noon. It didn’t come on at one. It didn’t come on at one-thirty I’m not exactly hopeful for two. So fuck you, Nickelodeon. Fuck you with a brick, sideways. ---

Aw, **Eutychus** , some of us had blocked that from our memories. They canceled _Pete and Pete_! Those asshats! That’s it; I’m boycotting them. Never mind that I’ll miss so many great shows. First, _Pete and Pete_, then Steve was replaced, and now _Zim_ is canceled? I guess I better just learn to like the Powerpuff Girls. I miss Pete and Pete’s mom the most. Sigh. ---

TNN (the network that insists on the that little black band at the bottom of the screen reminding you what show you’re watching) has purchased the rights to all 52 eps of Ren & Stimpy and will produce six new episodes WITH John Kricfalusi! Should start in Jan. '03. To the OP, I agree, ZIM was one of he funniest new toons to come along in a LONG time. Perhaps they’ll have SOME sense and release the shows (including the unaired ones) on DVD. ---

Some sense? Bwahaha. A network connected to MTV would never release shows on DVD. Maybe a few selected episodes on tape, but a full collection on DVD? Nah. Yes, I _am_ still bitter over MTV screwing with the schedule for Daria for the last two seasons and then canceling it altogether with nary a video or DVD release in sight for anything but the movies despite a decent-sized fanbase. I have to say, if someone asked me what channel is the least likely to be threatened with brick sodomy, I probably would have answered “Nickelodeon.” Now I’ll have to go with my second choice, the Game Show Network. ---

Well, if they’re fucking with the schedule, taping gets harder and harder. Schedule fucking aside, sometimes you don’t know what you have until it’s gone. I watched MST3K on Comedy Central from Season 2 until the end of Season 7, but it never occured to me to tape it. I just assumed it would always be on in reruns or something. Of course, I was a flighty adolescent at the time, but I think that “reruns are forever” mindset is more widespread than you’d think. Oh, and re your condescending attitude? Fucko off. ---

Mr. Blue Sky, I’d be first in line if the released Zim on DVD. First in line, I tells ya. But now Jess has me thinking…they never released _Bevis and Butthead_ on DVD. Not that I’d buy it, mind you, but they never released it. ---

Oh sure, now that I’m a grownup with some sense in my head (it was shocked there by the year we spent without MST3K during the SciFi switch), I have every episode of the final three seasons on tape. But barring a major outlay of cash at Media Play or a tape trading miracle, those Comedy Central episodes are lost to me forever. ---
