I’m going to take that comment about falling apart as an unintentional emotional outburst based on your fear of the upcoming Chiefs/Bronc-hosers game. And yes, the Raiders are quite sucktabulous. Peter Warrick, whom I don’t personally care for, is having a decent season. I always liked TJ Houshmenzadeh better, but it’s all in the name. Matt Schobel is hardly all world at tight end, but he has an ironic cult following amongst some Doper FFLers. Rudi Johnson may be the best understudy halfback in the NFL. Justin Smith and Tory James deserve some notice on the defense. And Shayne Graham deserves special credit just for not being Neil Rackers. (some of those spellings may be off) ---

The best year that palooka ever had was the year he missed with the jacked-up knee. It never fails to amaze me that the Steelers get such little value from most of their top draft picks (Alan Faneca excepted). I long for the heady draft days of 1974, when the Steelers got Swann, Lambert, Stallworth, and Webster in the same Goddamn draft! Imagine that. But nooo, we get stuck with goats like Chad fucking Scott, Troy fucking Edwards, and some decent picks like Plaxico Burress, lacking only in heart. Oh well. There’s always next year. ---
