There may be a slim majority of American’s opposed to same-sex marriage, at the moment, but, **Friar Ted** , if you think that more than half the country has the same opinions of homosexuality in general that Focus on the Family has, you’re fucking high. ---

No, but I doubt that they’re particularly bothered by the FOTF stance either. The hardcore anti-abortion & anti-gay contingency are probably comparable in numbers to the hardcore pro-abortion & pro-gay contingency. However, there is a great continuum between the two extremes & many many Americans who may have gay loved ones & also may consider themselves somewhat pro-choice can also understand & even share unease about both homosexuality & abortion. They’re not gonna get all exercised about a Tim Tebow FOTF commercial. ---

Focus on the Family _IS_ hard-core anti-abortion and anti-gay. They are fringe. You show me a person who isn’t “particularly bothered” by what they have to say, and I’ll show you either someone who is hard-core anti-abortion and anti-gay, or someone who doesn’t know what they hell Focus on the Family stands for in the first place. ---
