My brother’s neighbors had a couple hundred dollars worth of trees and bushes stolen from their yard. They mysteriously appeared in another neighbor’s front yard, a Vietnamese family. So the rightful owner walked across the street, dug up all her plants, and returned them to their original location. No one ever said a word to her, even though the grandparents were watching her. They still wonder if sharing plants is maybe a cultural thing in Vietnam Why else would they have been so obvious about it? ---

Could it be some neighborhood yutes saw you planting the trees and ripped them out and stole them as a prank? ---
