# Fucking Cancer

I spent this afternoon coaching a women’s cancer survivors’ dragon boat team. Each year many of the same faces return, but tragically each year several do not. Sometimes life is not fair. One can always hope, and cherish to the fullest whatever moments may or may not yet remain.

Hell, nothing wrong with that, I laughed my ass off! (Took much duct tape to get it back on, let me tell ya.)

And, **SexyWriter** , I feel for you and Jen. I know it sucks, but chemo drugs are getting _so_ much better these days, so don’t let things get you down. Just keep your sights set on the brighter future that is, I assure you, right up ahead.

I’m in a very similar position to yours, so feel free to write if you need somebody else to talk to.
