When you quote a thread that quotes another thread you don’t get all the text from the original quoted thread (if you follow me). I was replying line by line in my reply box and when I saw your question “so it was imaginary, then?” I thought it was about the civilian blazing away on the floor scenario. It’s hard to keep everything straight when you’re under these dogpiles. ---

It was the same for me in the Navy. I suspected it was the same in the AF, but I didn’t know for sure. My dad and one of my brothers were both in the AF, and, as far as I know, they never had any kind of serious firearms training, but I never asked them. ---
